Earth is designed to be run as a gadget on your desktop. Both Microsoft and Google privide sidebars to add gadgets to your desktop. While Earth currently does not run within these sidebars, it does run on top of them . (Note: it may not be possible to run Earth in the sidebars due to the limitations imposed by the sidebars).
